About BP
Better Parts is a network of websites and a blog focusing on how-to's, reviews, price point and quality point comparison to be helpful for DIY projects. Better Parts is owned and operated by Joe Bick who offers over a decade of experience. In addition to offering years of e-commerce experience including having over 4,000 happy eBay customers as KD8LOS since 2011. Today, Joe Bick is bringing the better parts network to you featuring solar and electronics.
Network Websites
Joe Bick owns and operates the network of websites. Currently we have a few websites in various areas of interest. Our goal is to provide an optimal shopping experience to the end customer including with Internet Radio to enhance the experience. Each of our websites have a "Listen Now" button. Currently involved with syndication sites like solar.betterparts.biz and pc.betterparts.biz.
These sub-domain sites contain entire categories of products from proven reputable companies like eBay and Amazon. With these businesses, we know the customer is always put first and we can feel secure promoting these plat-forms. The sites will be used where it makes sense to enhance our blog posts and guide buyers and sellers into the right direction.
Quality Procedure in Product Selection
Each seller shown on any of our websites must have a 96% or greater approval rating or feedback from eBay. This is to ensure we are only promoting quality sellers from eBay and acting like a filter tool for you so you can avoid scammers, foreign sellers, and low quality products related to our supported products.
In addition to requiring 96% feedback, our eBay search pages may high-light specific sellers or brands that we have directly done business with to accomplish a project by putting those sellers first inline.
Better Parts Shopping Tools
Custom queries to help you in your shopping experience. For example, an eBay search term + eBay category, eBay search term + specific seller and all pages only show sellers above 96% approval rating.

Better Parts Evolution
At the core of better parts our focus has been e-commerce since it's inception. We started out physically shipping our products and mainly focused on recycling e-waste. This holds true from our eBay business to our better parts business and e-crater business.
At the beginning we shipped out CB radio equipment. Later on we started attending government and business liquidation auctions to purchase surplus electronic waste such as computers and keyboards which we were able to refurbish and sell and ship on eBay and right here on better parts.
Additionally, we bought and sold used sold lawn mower parts such as decks, engines, hoods, cables and more. We ran ads on facebook and craigslist for free junk lawn mower removal service. Folks would basically give us there junk lawn mowers or sell them cheap, considering there mechanical issues that we could then sell to people all over the world online via Better Parts. Today we are mainly focused on our blog business featuring solar and affiliate shopping tools.
Blog Articles
Today we are looking to incorporate our own shopping experience with products and video production in addition to our data analytics skills to bring you the best deals on the internet. Having e-commerce experience, the PRIMARY goal of this website is to help buyers and sellers alike.
Our Better Parts websites feature physical products, reviews, and product overviews that we have either actually used and believe in or businesses we have experience with. Our main author, Joe Bick will share technical expertise on his personal website.
Our blog articles focus on all things electronics mainly solar, information and technology hardware and various electronics. The blog may also feature mechanical hardware such as tools, lawn mowers and automotive in the future.
Why Solar?
We are now featuring articles intended to help you go solar. Be it for a small installation or larger such as for a home or facility. Solar presents an opportunity to become more independent reducing reliance on grid electricity. Solar also presents a lot of questions about configuration which is where our articles come in.
Solar is similar to our previous goal of recycling. It's good for the environment as is reusing lawn mower parts or e-waste for that matter.
